Mrs. Kennedy, my fourth grade teacher who had the look of a lady warden from a prison, that wore a long navy blue dress with a white crocheted collar. She wore hose that matched the color of her legs, with heels you could here coming down the hall along with the walking cane that sounded like an army. Her glasses were on a chain, and would be folded and resting on her breast. She had dark hair that was cut low. Keeping the children in check was her motto, which she used her walking cane to tap on the wooden floors for that.
